2022-23
Totaled 32 points (eight goals, 24 assists) in 71 regular-season games with the Firebirds setting AHL career highs in goals, assists and points. Had two shorthanded goals, which was an AHL career best, tied for the team lead and tied for second among all AHL defensemen. Added nine points (five goals, four assists) during the 2022-23 playoffs, appearing in all 26 postseason games and helping the Firebirds to reach the Calder Cup Finals. His playoff goal, assist, point and games played totals in 2022-23 were all AHL career bests, and he also set postseason career highs in power-play goals (two) and shorthanded goals (one)…. His nine points during the 2022-23 playoffs were good for seventh among all AHL blueliners and he was the only defenseman to score a shorthanded goal during the Calder Cup Playoffs that year.
2018-19
Appeared in one NHL game for the Vegas Golden Knights during the 2018-19 season and spent the remainder of his professional career in the AHL, making stops with the Chicago Wolves (2019-20), Henderson Silver Knights (2020-21), Rochester Americans (2021- 22) and the Firebirds.
Before the pros
Played four seasons (2015-16 to 2018-19) of collegiate hockey at St. Cloud State University prior to making his professional debut, serving as his team’s captain his sophomore, junior and senior seasons. Recorded 118 points (38 goals, 80 assists) in 156 NCAA games, helping the Huskies earn a berth to the NCAA tournament in 2016, 2018 and 2019. His 156 games played were tied for the seventh most in program history entering the 2022-23 season. Named to the NCHC All-Rookie Team his freshman year. Earned NCHC First Team All-Star honors and was named to the NCAA West’s First All-American Team en route to being named a Hobey Baker finalist, awarded annually to the top men’s collegiate player, at the conclusion of his junior year. Was again a Hobey Baker finalist his senior season while also being named the NCHC’s Player of the Year, Best Defensive Defenseman and earning NCHC First All-Star Team honors. That season he was named to the Lowes Senior Class All-American Second Team and earned NCAA West First Team All-American honors.
