The Barracuda conclude their eight-game season-series with the Ontario Reign on Friday after finishing up a three-game road trip on Wednesday in San Diego against the Gulls.

With the win, the Barracuda are now tied with the Gulls for the second spot in the Pacific Division at 73 points and have a game in hand. The two teams will play two more times in the next 13 days to wrap up the 10-game season series.

With the loss, Tucson has inched within four points of San Jose and the Colorado Eagles for the final two playoff spots in the division.

The San Jose Barracuda (32-19-3-4) hadn't scored within the Tucson Convention Center since March 21, 2018, before scoring a pair in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Tucson Roadrunners (29-23-5-2) (Arizona Coyotes) on Saturday night.…
