Sharks Recall Forward Micheal Haley and Defenseman Dylan DeMelo
Mar 3, 2016SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has recalled forward Micheal Haley and defenseman Dylan DeMelo (@ddems2) from the San Jose Barracuda (@sjbarracuda) of the American Hockey League (@theAHL).
Haley has posted 20 points (13 goals, seven assists) in 36 games with the Baracuda this season. He has appeared in eight games with the Sharks this season, posting 20 penalty minutes.
The five-foot-ten, 205-pound native of Guelph, Ontario, was signed by San Jose as a free agent on July 10, 2014.
DeMelo, 22, has posted two goals, two assists and 26 shots in 33 games with the Sharks this season. He has appeared in 13 games with the Barracuda, recording five assists and a +1 rating.
A six-foot-one, 195-pound native of London, Ontario, DeMelo was originally drafted by San Jose in the sixth round (179th overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft.
In addition, goaltender Aaron Dell (@adell32) was reassigned to the Barracuda.
