SAN JOSE SHARKS TO HOST PRE-DRAFT LIVE STREAMING BROADCAST
Oct 2, 2020SAN JOSE, CA - The San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) today announced a live streaming broadcast which will take place on Tues., Oct. 6 prior to Round One of the 2020 NHL Draft. The show, which will air on the Sharks + SAP Center Mobile App, will be hosted by the radio voices of the San Jose Sharks and San Jose Barracuda Dan Rusanowsky and Nick Nollenberger, and also include interviews by television play-by-play announcer Randy Hahn. The show is scheduled to begin at approximately 3:30 p.m. PDT and will conclude prior to the start of the 2020 NHL Draft, which will be broadcast live on NBCSN.
The Sharks currently hold the 31st overall selection in the first round of the 2020 NHL Draft on Oct. 6. San Jose also currently has six additional picks on Day Two of the draft, which encompasses Rounds 2-7, including the third overall selection (34th overall) in the second round.
Several members of the Sharks Hockey Operations Department will appear on the program, including General Manager Doug Wilson, Assistant General Managers Joe Will and Tim Burke, and Director of Scouting Doug Wilson Jr. Fans will also hear from Head Coach Bob Boughner, who was named as the ninth coach in San Jose Sharks history on Sept. 22, along with Associate Coach Rocky Thompson and Assistant Coach John Madden. There will also be live look-ins to the Sharks virtual 'Draft HQ' at SAP Center.
Fans will also have the ability to submit questions via social media prior to the show and have the chance to hear their questions answered live on the air by Rusanowsky and Nollenberger.
