Damiani’s 19 helpers is third in the league. Among rookies, Damiani is first in points and assists and Stars first-round pick in 2019 Thomas Harley is tied for fifth in points among defensemen (5+9=14), first in minors (12) and third in shots (52).
Maxed Out: Barracuda forward Maxim Letunov scored twice on Wednesday and now has goals (7) in five of his last seven games. Letunov is second on the team in goals (9) and in power-play goals (2). A season ago, Letunov was the team’s MVP as he collected a team-best 40 points (12+28=40) in 50 games.

The Sharks signed Pasichnuk as an undrafted free agent this offseason from Arizona State. Reedy just finished his senior season at Minnesota and joined the Barracuda on Tuesday after signing his entry-level contract the previous Friday.
Trade Winds: The Sharks were wheeling and dealing before the NHL’s trade deadline on Monday, as the organization stockpiled draft capital and added a pair of players. Notable departures were forward Antti Suomela who was traded to Toronto for Alex Barabanov, Stefan Noeson who was also traded to Toronto in a separate deal, and Nick DeSimone who was sent to Vegas. The Sharks also traded Fredrik Claesson to the Lightning for goalie prospect Magnus Chrona. DeSimone ranks fourth in Barracuda history in games played (190), points (91), and assists (65).
