Mar 16, 2020SAN JOSE BARRACUDA vs ROCKFORD ICEHOGS
TUESDAY, MARCH 17 | 1:00 P.M. | YOUR LIVING ROOM | WHEREVER, USA
Tuesday’s Tussle: On Tuesday, the Barracuda kick off a virtual best of three series against the Rockford Icehogs through NHL 20. The Barracuda are 1-3-0-0 all time in real hockey games against the Blackhawks farm team, but enter Tuesday having never played each other online.
Both clubs are planning to stream the action for free on Twitch. More information on the streaming platform can be found HERE.
NOTE: The NHL 20 rosters may not be up to date. Therefore, the IceHogs and Barracuda lineups may list former players and/or may not list current players but we will do our best to make them as accurate as possible.
Open The Doors: Do you have a key to your own home? If so, doors open on your own time.
Tickets: LOL, come on.
Broadcast: All games will be streamed through the Barracuda Twitch account (here) and fans can also follow along via the team Twitter account (@sjbarracuda)
Feeling Lucky?: It is St. Patrick's Day, so feel free to grab yourself some corned beef and cabbage or a green beer if you're of age and sitting at home following along. For the kiddos, pour out a bowl of Lucky Charms (extra marshmallows of course).
Power Pour: Available during all real home games this season, any time the Barracuda score on the power play in the first or second period all draft beers available on the concourse will be 50% off for 15 minutes following the goal. Of course, since this game isn't real, beers are going to cost whatever you got them for at the store. As always, fans must be age 21 or older to participate in the Power Pour promotion and we encourage all of Cuda Country to please drink responsibly.
Chuck-a-Puck: There will be no chuck-a-puck during any of the games played. Please don't throw things at your streaming device.
Brodzinski Buzzin’: In our practice games, Jonny Brodzinski remained on his red hot streak by scoring four goals and tallying six assists over the course of three games. He also picked up some streaming victories in real life on his own Twitch channel.
The Real Deal: Lukas Radil enters the game with the highest rating (77 OVR) among Barracuda players and the second-highest rating among all skaters (McCoshen, 79 OVR)
Salt and PEPA: Josef Korenar (59 OVR) will get the start in game one for the Barracuda.
