Barracuda to Host Trio of Promotional Nights

Calling all college students
Are you looking for something fun to do on a Thursday night? The first of four College Nights will be held Nov. 10 as the Barracuda host the Ontario Reign! With fun for the whole group, the Barracuda can’t wait to see everyone representing their school. With $3 beer available at portables around the concourse, it’s sure to be an exciting night of Barracuda hockey that you won’t want to miss.

Veteran’s appreciation weekend
Keeping things rolling through the weekend with Veteran’s Night on Saturday, Nov. 12, the Barracuda will welcome HomeFirst Services of Santa Clara County to drop the puck and as the beneficiary of the night’s Chuck-a-Puck. There will also be a presentation of colors by the Monterey Bay Army Recruiting Company Color Guard, and of course a live anthem pre-game.
HomeFirst works to provide shelter and housing for those who are homeless and those at risk of homelessness in Santa Clara County.
Come early to check out the Army Mobile Medical Exhibit AS5 vehicle that will be set up in front of Tech CU Arena to show various medical career options with interactive stations.

Pups, pucks, and purple hearts
On Nov. 13, the Barracuda will be hosting the first of two Pucks & Paws nights this season, with the first 2000 fans through the doors receiving the team calendar as a giveaway, so be sure to arrive early! Puck drop will be by a Paws for Purple Hearts representative with Paws for Purple Hearts doubling as the Chuck-a-Puck beneficiary. Make sure your pooch comes dressed their best as there will be a doggie costume contest and we’ll be looking for the best of the best all night.
Partnering with Bergin College of Canine Studies, Paws for Purple Hearts is a service dog organization focused on wounded service members and veterans.
