Mar 24, 2022San Jose, CA – The San Jose Barracuda (20-31-2-2) fell into a two-goal hole in the first period on Thursday at Sharks Ice at San Jose and couldn’t dig themselves out, falling, 4-1, the Abottsford Canucks (36-11-4-1).
• Sheldon Rempal (25) opened up the scoring at 6:54 and now has four points (2+2=4) over his last two games.
• Sheldon Dries (32) notched his team-leading 31st goal and now ranks third in the AHL in that department.
• Jayden Halbgewachs (16) cut the lead in half in the second period, and now has points in four of his last five games (2+2=4).
• Joachim Blichfeld collected an assist and is now pacing the Barracuda in scoring (20+17=37).
• Spencer Martin (16-3-2) improved to 3-0 against San Jose and has now won four in a row.
