BARRACUDA ANNOUNCE 2018-19 PROMOTIONAL SCHEDULE

SAN JOSE - The San Jose Barracuda (@SJBarracuda), proud American Hockey League (@TheAHL) affiliate of the National Hockey League's (@NHL) San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks), have announced their 2018-19 promotional schedule, which will feature seven specialty jersey nights, three specialty replica jersey giveaways, two bobblehead giveaways, several themed nights, and more.

The Barracuda will kick off their 34-game home schedule at SAP Center at San Jose on Friday, October 5 (7 p.m.) against Pacific Division rival the Ontario Reign. The home opener will feature $2 beers, $1 hot dogs and 2nd intermission player signings presented by Williams Party Rentals.
In 2018-19, the Barracuda will be honoring the history of the San Jose Sharks primary affiliates by wearing specialty throwback sweaters of the Kansas City Blades, Kentucky Thoroughblades, Cleveland Barons, Worcester Sharks and San Jose Barracuda. Three of the five throwback nights will feature replica jersey giveaways (Worcester, Cleveland, and Cuda Orange) to the first 4,000 fans in attendance.
In addition to the throwback specialty jersey series, the Barracuda will also be wearing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles specialty jerseys on Saturday, March 9 for Nickelodeon Night and the first 4,000 fans will receive a combo bobblehead featuring Ninja Hertle and Radim Simek. In addition, the Barracuda will wear Irish themed sweaters on St. Patrick's Day.
Saturday, December 22 the Barracuda will host Cuda Christmas
and the first 4,000 fans will receive a one of a kind bobblehead featuring active Sharks legend Joe Thornton and Barracuda 2017-18 All-Star Rudolfs Balcers.
The Barracuda are offering special ticket plans in 2017-18 including the Super 7 Pack, which guarantees the seven biggest promotional nights of the season (Home Opener, Fan Appreciation Night, Cleveland Barons Night, Worcester Sharks Night, Orange You Glad Night, Cuda Christmas and Nickelodeon Night). Super 7 Packs start as low $56 ($8 per game).
Teddy Bear Toss Night returns on Friday, December 21 when the Barracuda take on the Tucson Roadrunners at SAP Center at San Jose. Fans are encouraged to bring new or lightly used bears with them to the game and when the Barracuda score their first goal fans can toss their bear onto the ice. The Bears will be collected and donated to various organizations in the San Clara County in the following weeks by players and staff.
Tuesday, November 27 marks the second annual Cuda Classroom Day, which includes an 11 a.m. start time and an activity book handout for all students in attendance.
After a resounding success in 2017-18, Pucks and Paws Night returns to SAP Center at San Jose on Sunday, March 10 when the Barracuda take on the Stockton Heat. Fans can bring their dog to the game by purchasing a special dog ticket.
Fan Appreciation Night is set for the second to last home game of the regular season on Friday, April 5 against the Grand Rapids Griffins and will feature $2 beers, $1 hot dogs, and in-game giveaways.
Once again SAP Center at San Jose will be offering $10 parking to all of its guests during Barracuda games and cars with four or more people will receive free parking all season long.
All seven Friday night games in 2018-19 will have $2 beers and $1 hot dogs at participating concessions stands.
Per league policy, San Jose will wear white jerseys at home until the Christmas break and then shift to a dark sweater (teal) on home ice after that point.
