SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has recalled defenseman Matt Tennyson (@Tenner_7) from the San Jose Barracuda (@sjbarracuda).

Tennyson had been assigned to the Barracuda on a conditioning assignment.

Tennyson, 25, has appeared in 23 games with San Jose this season, scoring one goal and two assists. In three games with the Barracuda, Tennyson recorded seven shots on goal. 

The six-foot-two, 205-pound native of Minneapolis, MN, was signed by San Jose as a free agent on March 29, 2012.
