Tonight’s Matchup: On Saturday, the San Jose Barracuda and Tucson Roadrunners battle for the fourth time this season and second time in as many nights. Oh Boy Troy: Barracuda All-Star netminder Troy Grosenick is riding a career-long 11-game winning streak and is first in the AHL in shutouts (7), first in goals-against average (1.97), first in save percentage (.934) and fifth in wins (19).

Sorensen Soaring: Over his first 20 games in the AHL, Barracuda forward Marcus Sorensen recorded just nine points (5+4=9) and had a 10-game stretch from mid-November to mid-December where he didn’t record a single point. But in his last 22 games, Sorensen has exploded for 23 points (10+13=23) and a plus-nine rating. A former Ottawa Senators’ draft pick, Sorensen is riding a nine-game point streak (4+9=13).

About Last Night: The San Jose Barracuda needed two unanswered goals in the third to hold off the Tucson Roadrunners, 4-3, at the Tucson Convention Center on Friday night. The win extended San Jose's winning streak to 13-straight games and nine in a row on the road. Buddy Robinson (11), Nikita Jevpalovs (11), Rourke Chartier (11) and Marcus Sorensen (15) all scored in the victory while Troy Grosenick earned his 11th win in a row by making 21 saves on 24 shots.
