SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has recalled forward Bryan Lerg (@blerg11) from the San Jose Barracuda (AHL, @sjbarracuda).

Lerg, 29, has posted two goals and six shots on goal in three games as the captain of the Barracuda, ranking 2nd on the team in goals. He posted 41 points (13-28=41) in 68 games with Worcester last season, and scored one goal in two games with the Sharks in 2014-15.

A five-foot-ten, 175-pound native of Livonia, Michigan, Lerg was signed as a free agent by San Jose on July 10, 2014. In a related move, Logan Couture (@logancouture) was placed on injured reserve.
