SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has recalled center Chris Tierney (@Tierney71) from the San Jose Barracuda (@sjbarracuda).

Tierney, 21, has recorded eight points (three goals, five assists) and 14 penalty minutes in 36 games with the Sharks this season. In three games with the Barracuda, Tierney posted one goal, two assists and a +3 rating.

The six-foot, 195-pound native of Keswick, Ontario, was originally drafted by San Jose in the second round (55th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft.
