San Jose Barracuda Radio Update
SAN JOSE, CA – The San Jose Barracuda (@SJBarracuda) presented by Barracuda Networks (@barracuda) and the American Hockey League (@TheAHL) affiliate of the San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) announced today that Barracuda play-by-play voice and manager of public relations, Eric Lindquist, will miss the team’s next nine games due to a family emergency.
Below is the Barracuda broadcast schedule on AM 1220 KDOW for the remainder of the month of March. Broadcasters filling in for Lindquist include:
Jason Lockhart – former radio broadcaster for the San Francisco Bulls, Syracuse Crunch, and Condors
Charlie Townsend – San Jose Barracuda Video Coach
Josh Fisher – current PR and color commentator for the Iowa Wild; former broadcaster of the Texas Stars and the Las Vegas Wranglers
Ted Ramey – current San Jose Earthquakes play-by-play and current host on KNBR 1050 AM
Paul Gackle – founder of the Gackle Report – beat writer for the Barracuda and SJ Sharks
David Maley – Stanley Cup Champion and current SJ Sharks and Barracuda radio color commentator
Coverage will now begin 10 minutes before puck drop on AM 1220 KDOW (@am1220kdow) and online at www.KDOW.biz and www.AHLLive.com.
