Henderson Hookup: The Barracuda continue their four-game homestand on Saturday with the second of back-to-back games against the Henderson Silver Knights (Vegas Golden Knights). After a 7-5 win over the Silver Knights on Friday, the Barracuda are now 2-2-0-1 against Henderson. The Barracuda have won three in a row and go for a fourth-straight win for the first time this season on Saturday.

About Last Night: On the Friday, the Barracuda scored a single-game franchise record five power-play goals, going a perfect five-for-five on the man-advantage. Center-ice man Joel Kellman also set a single-game franchise record with five points (3+2=5) and defenseman Robbie Russo set a single-game franchise record with four assists. For Kellman, his hat-trick was the first of his AHL career and the first Barracuda hat-trick since Dec. 12, 2019 (Trevor Carrick).

Sasha Sizzling: On Friday, Sasha Chmelevski recorded the first four-point (2+2=6) game of his career and the first multi power-play goal game of his career and now has seven points (3+4=7) over his last two games. The Huntington Beach native is tied for third on the team in points (8+10=18) and tied for first in power-play goals (3).

Kellman Killing It: Joel Kellman picked up a franchise single-game best five points on Friday and now has seven points (4+3=7) over his last seven games. Kellman is tied for third on the team in points (7+11=18) despite playing in just 17 games.

Russo Rolling: Barracuda defenseman Robbie Russo recorded a franchise single-game best four assists on Friday. Russo now leads the Barracuda in assists (13) and power-play assists (7). All four of Russo’s helpers on Friday came on the power-play.

Halbs Heating Up: Barracuda forward Jayden Halbgewachs missed nine games with an injury before returning to San Jose’s lineup on April 21. Since that point, Halbgewachs has points in all four games (2+3=5), more than doubling his point totals in his previous 17 games.

Knight and Day: After beginning the season 20-6 through their first 26 games, the Silver Knights are just 1-6 over their last seven games, scoring just one goal in four of those outings. The Silver Knights have given up eight power-play goals over their last two games, at least one power-play goal in five straight games, and multiple power-play goals in four of their last five contests.
