SAN JOSE - The San Jose Barracuda (@SJBarracuda), proud American Hockey League (@TheAHL) affiliate of the San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks), and General Manager Joe Will announced today that the club has signed Forward Justin Parizek (@Parizek07) to a professional tryout agreement (PTO) from the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL (@ECHL).

Among rookie ECHL skaters, Parizek ranks T-fourth in points (22), second in goals (12), T-13th in assists (10), T-fourth in plus/minus (+9), T-eighth in penalty minutes (34), and T-first in power-play goals (4).
 
Prior to turning pro, the six-foot-one, 198-pound forward spent four years at the University of Omaha-Nebraska (NCHC), appearing in 133 games while collecting 75 points (34 goals, 41 assists), 108 penalty minutes, and a plus-nine rating.
