SAN JOSE, CA - The San Jose Barracuda (21-18-1-2) returned to SAP Center on Saturday night for the first time since January 17, but the Stockton Heat (21-16-2-3) found a way to spoil San Jose's return, winning 4-2.

After a scoreless first, Austin Carroll (3) opened up the scoring at 1:07 of the second period after he slipped past the San Jose defense and beat Troy Grosenick with a nifty forehand-to-backhand move. Julius Bergman (6) evened the score as fired a shot from the right point past a screened Tyler Parsons on the power play at 7:31. Less than a minute later, at 8:37, Rod Pelley sprung Emile Poirier (4) on a breakaway and Poirier snapped a shot under Grosenick's right arm.

In the third, Stockton added to its lead at 13:56 when Morgan Klimchuk (13) jammed a rebound past Grosenick and then Stockton's Marik Hrivik (11) made it 4-1 with an empty-netter at 18:04. John McCarthy tipped in a Cavan Fitzgerald point shot 19:16 on the power play, but the 'Cuda would run out of time.

Grosenick (5-8-2) suffered the loss after allowing three goals on 32 shots. Parsons earned (1-1-0) his first AHL win by making 32 saves on 34 shots.
