SAN JOSE, CA - The San Jose Barracuda (@SJBarracuda), proud American Hockey League (@TheAHL) affiliate of the San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks), and General Manager Joe Will announced today that the club has reassigned forward Colby McAuley (@CMcAuley_93) to the Allen Americans (@AllenAmericans), its East Coast Hockey League (@ECHL) affiliate.

McAuley has collected 14 penalty minutes for the Barracuda in seven games this season after recording a pair of assists in four games with San Jose at the end of last year following the conclusion of his junior career. The 21-year-old also appeared in a pair of Calder Cup playoff games for the Barracuda.

Over a four-year career with the WHL's Prince George Cougars, McAuley skated in 191 games and totaled 96 points (44 goals, 52 assists), 318 penalty minutes and a plus-17 rating. In 2015-16, the Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada native led the league in penalty minutes.
