SHARKS RECALL JOAKIM RYAN FROM SAN JOSE BARRACUDA

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has recalled defenseman Joakim Ryan (@JoakimRyan) from the San Jose Barracuda (@sjbarracuda), the team's top development affiliate in the American Hockey League (@TheAHL).
Ryan is fifth in scoring, second amongst Barracuda defensemen, with 33 points (7 goals, 26 assists). He leads the Barracuda in plus/minus with a plus-26, and his 33 points rank him T-7th amongst AHL defensemen.
The five-foot-eleven, 185-pound native of Rumson, New Jersey, was originally selected by San Jose in the seventh round (198th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft.
