BARRACUDA WEEKLY
Nov 20, 2018Coming off its first consecutive losses of the season, the Barracuda were off for an entire week before hitting the ice on Sunday as the Cleveland Barons, Sharks affiliate from 2001-06, and welcomed in the Colorado Eagles (Colorado Avalanche) for the first time in franchise history. After a scoreless first, Francis Perron would light the lamp as Jon Martin crossed a brilliant pass from the right wing to Perron who streaked to the low slot. Perron would score again in the period, this time on a five-on-three power play as he ripped a shot from the right point that trickled through Colorado’s Spencer Martin’s five-hole. The two goals for the third-year pro matched a career high he set previously on November 19, 2016, as a member of the Binghamton Senators. Perron is now second in the AHL in shooting percentage (8/34 = 33.33%) after Sunday's two-goal game.
